Responsibilities

• Performs basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including fluoroscopic imaging.
• Explains procedures to patients, gathers history, and answers questions.
• Positions patients, selects exposure factors, and ensures radiation safety.
• Identifies and labels images, verifies orders, and processes images for quality.
• Maintains records, enters data into the radiology information system, and codes procedures.
• Handles patient positioning and transport with proper lifting techniques.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care and collaborates with Radiologists.
