Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT registration required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• SC Radiation Quality Standards licensure required and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and protocols.
• Ensures diagnostic images are obtained accurately and efficiently for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast agents under physician supervision.
• Verifies patient identification and orders before procedures.
• Operates radiographic equipment safely and maintains patient safety and privacy.
• Maintains equipment and work areas per department standards.
