Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Radiographer responsible for X-raying patients using radiologic equipment that produces radiographs for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiologist. The role aims to generate high-quality images to assist with diagnosis and treatment.

Prepares and maintains records and files as directed, and supports imaging operations while following safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure patient comfort and care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging equipment, setup, troubleshooting, and care/sanitation of equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses patient questions.
• Maintains equipment and ensures safety, comfort, and physiological needs of patients.
• Coordinates daily imaging procedures and supports related duties.
