CommonSpirit Medical Group – Urology – Holtzclaw is seeking a Lab Assistant to collect, prepare, and process patient specimens for diagnostic testing. You will assemble equipment, verify patient identity, draw blood, and ensure proper documentation to support accurate results.

The role requires a high school diploma with CPR within 30 days, and preferred qualifications include accredited phlebotomy training, 1 year of related experience, and certification as a Phlebotomy Technician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required at hire.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Phlebotomy training from an accredited program preferred.
• At least 1 year of related phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assemble equipment for tests and procedures.
• Verify or record patient identity.
• Draw blood and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Send specimens to reference laboratories as needed.
• Maintain QA documentation including logs and checklists.
• Identify problems that may affect test performance and notify supervisor.
