Schedule: Full-Time weekend Days

Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:30am-7pm

• AdventHealth Kissimmee is a 242-bed community-focused hospital
• Located near Walt Disney World
• Dedicated to providing mission-focused, faith-based care to residents and visitors of Osceola and Orange Counties
• Recently expanded with a new tower adding 3 floors and 80 beds, including new ancillary services such as Inpatient Rehab, Dialysis, Laboratory, and Imaging

The role you’ll contribute:

The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist performs a wide range of sonography procedures, contributing to high-quality diagnostic information for vascular and other medical conditions. Operating at a technical level, the technologist conducts ultrasound exams across all patient ages, from neonatal to geriatric, ensuring quality for interpretation by physicians. The role includes assisting with interventional procedures, adhering to departmental and hospital policies, exercising independent judgment, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Delivering excellent patient care and maintaining respectful relationships are essential. A graduate from an accredited program is required.

• Review images, document procedures, and seek feedback for improvement
• Complete exams efficiently, communicate effectively with patients and team members, and ensure patient safety
• Utilize computer systems for documentation, billing, and image management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARDMS/ARRT and/or CCI credentials, including:

1. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in AB and OB/GYN, plus one of the following:

a. Registered Vascular Technology (RVT) or RVS

Preferred qualifications include:

• Additional RDMS certification in Breast or other specialties
• Additional registry in radiologic technology
• Graduate of a Vascular Ultrasound Program
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field
