Schedule: Full-Time Nights

Shift: Monday-Thursday 9:30pm-7am

The role you’ll contribute:

The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, under general supervision, performs a wide range of Sonography and Vascular Sonography procedures following department protocols. They contribute to high-quality diagnostic information for the treatment and prognosis of vascular and other medical conditions. The role involves conducting ultrasound procedures across all patient ages, assisting physicians with interventional procedures, and adhering to hospital policies and procedures. The Technologist exercises independent judgment, maintains compliance, and provides outstanding patient care and customer service. Graduate from an accredited program is required.

• Ensure high-quality scans, follow exam protocols, and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Review images, document procedures thoroughly, and assist with clinical instructions.
• Complete exams timely, coordinate patient throughput, and communicate abnormal findings effectively.
• Utilize computer systems for data processing, ensure accurate documentation and charges, and follow all policies.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARDMS/ARRT and/or CCI credentials including:

1. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer RDMS (AB) and RDMS (OB/GYN), plus one of the following:

a. Registered Vascular Technology RVT (VT)

b. Registered Vascular Sonographer RVS (VS)

Preferred qualifications:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer RDMS (BR) OR
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologies RT (BS)
• Graduate of Vascular Ultrasound Program
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field
