Position Details
  • Department: LMH PCU
  • Status: Variable Full-time (3 x 12 hour shifts a week)
  • Schedule: Nights / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

The NEW Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital exemplifies Orlando Health’s commitment to the Seminole County community. As a comprehensive acute care facility, it offers medical and surgical services including cardiovascular, general surgery, orthopedics, women’s services with labor and delivery, and a future NICU. The hospital features state-of-the-art facilities with 124 beds, expandable to 240, including operating rooms, catheterization labs, interventional radiology, a vascular lab, ICU, and emergency services.

Labor and delivery services include six private suites with modern amenities like hydrotherapy tubs, wireless monitors, and smart boards for patient and nurse information integration, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in an acute setting, assessing needs, developing care plans, and evaluating patient progress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, advocate for patients, and ensure safe, compassionate care tailored to patient age and needs. Support staff, mentor new team members, and maintain compliance with hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved nursing school
  • Current Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate license
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC may be required for specific areas
  • Minimum one year of RN acute care experience
