Job summary

Pima Medical Institute in Renton, WA seeks a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our on-site campus faculty. This full-time role features a Monday–Friday 8–5 schedule with no nights or weekends and compensation of $51.00–$54.00 per hour.

The position emphasizes teaching mastery, student mentorship, and balancing clinical knowledge with compassionate patient care while supporting program goals and student success.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program.
• Active RDMS credential in Abdomen (AB) and/or OB/GYN (OB/GYN) or RVT preferred.
• Active Washington state licensure or certification as required by local, state, or federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructional content: daily lesson plans, lectures, and demonstrations aligned with program objectives.
• Lead lab sessions, supervise scanning procedures, provide hands-on guidance, enforce lab safety.
