Job summary

NOVA invites applications for qualified individuals to join our faculty to support the mission and vision of the largest institution of higher education in Virginia. The primary responsibility is to provide quality instruction for the DMS program across classroom, lab, and online platforms.

Faculty are expected to teach day, evening, and weekend classes at campus or off-site locations, advise students, and participate in curriculum development and service on committees.

Qualifications

• Breadth of DMS instruction across classroom, lab, and online formats.
• Demonstrated ability to teach DMS across didactic, lab and clinical settings.
• Proficiency with online learning platforms and technology-enhanced teaching.
• Strong interpersonal, analytic, and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to teach day, evening, weekend, and online classes.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses offered in traditional, hybrid, and distance learning formats.
• Maintain a teaching load of 12–15 credit hours and 15–20 contact hours per semester.
• Advise students, participate in committees, and contribute to curriculum development.
• Maintain currency in DMS and adhere to college policies and ethics.
