Job summary

Blue Cliff College in Mississippi is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructor to deliver the AAS program, align instruction with course outcomes, and guide student learning in classroom and clinical settings.

The instructor will oversee curriculum implementation, advise students, monitor performance, and support recruitment and retention efforts, ensuring alignment with program goals and college policies.

Qualifications

• Faculty teaching technical and occupational courses must be qualified by education and experience.
• Possess appropriate credential(s) relevant to the concentration.
• Have a minimum of three (3) years of related practical work experience in the subject area(s) taught.
• Approval by state regulatory agency, if required.

Responsibilities

• Select, teach, guide, and evaluate all learning experiences in the classroom.
• Demonstrate knowledge of program goals and develop plans for instruction and evaluation.
• Teach assigned courses in accordance with the approved curriculum.
• Supervise and instruct students during clinical rotations and laboratory activities.
• Maintain required presence on campus or online for scheduled class days.
