Job summary

CommUnityCare is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations, select proper equipment, and ensure accurate imaging for diagnostic interpretation. Responsibilities include patient positioning, maintaining infection control, and communicating findings to physicians to support patient care across CommUnityCare Health Centers.

The role requires at least 3 years of radiologic/imaging experience and appropriate certifications, with a team-focused, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Three years of radiologic/imaging experience.
• CCT/CRT/ARDMS eligibility or equivalent certification.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical assessment to select equipment for sonography exams.
• Explain tests to patients and position them for examination.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic procedures during procedures.
• Acquire, analyze, and record diagnostic images for interpretation.
• Communicate findings to the physician for diagnosis and management.
• Perform QC checks and maintain QC logs.
