Job summary

Arnot Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound services under the supervision of a radiologist. The role requires ARDMS certification and at least one year of full-time experience with a focus on patient care.

Candidates must graduate from a formal Sonography program and be eligible to take ARDMS exams; BLS must be active within 90 days of hire. The position supports a dynamic ultrasound team at our Southern Tier location.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program with eligibility to take ARDMS exam.
• Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the specialty(ies) as appropriate.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Operate sonographic equipment and perform diagnostic examinations per department protocol.
• Maintain daily operations of the ultrasound department and scheduling with QA and equipment maintenance.
• Prepare preliminary reports and communicate findings to the attending physician.
