Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or BS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography desirable.
• Florida driver’s license and personal automobile.
• Fluent in English; Spanish preferred.
• Active ARDMS, CPR, OSHA certification (RDMS, RVT, RDCS, CCI).
• 2–5 years of Adult Echo, Carotid Duplex and Abdominal Aortic Ultrasound experience required.
• Vascular and General/Abdomen experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

As a rapidly growing, privately owned company with over a decade of experience, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and high-quality diagnostic imaging. We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly skilled Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer to join our expanding team.

Position Summary

The Diagnostic Sonographer is responsible for the independent performance of advanced ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders, organizational protocols, and ARDMS/ASE standards. This position is ideal for a sonographer with strong experience in Adult Echocardiography, Carotid Duplex Ultrasound, and Abdominal Aortic Ultrasound, as well as the ability to perform additional vascular and general ultrasound studies.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent scanning skills, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a mobile healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
• Takes on call shift responsibilities as required by the department.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures if clinically appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies.
• Selects appropriate imaging parameters.
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Strong communication skills required, ability to communicate effectively with ordering physicians, other medical professionals, and administrative staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable.
• Florida driver’s license
• Personal automobile
• Fluent in speaking English (Spanish preferred)
• Active ARDMS, CPR, OSHA certification - (RDMS, RVT, RDCS, CCI)
• 2-5 Year Adult Echocardiography, Carotid Duplex, Abdominal Aortic Ultrasound experience (Required)
• Vascular and General / Abdomen experience (Preferred)
• CPR/BLS Certification (REQUIRED)

Additional Job Information

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required Work Experience: Prior work is experience required.

Other Information: Must be registered in ARDMS (OBGYN,AB, RVT, BR, or PS).

Additional Education Info: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or possess a foreign diploma recognized by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Minimal travel between accounts will be required, expecting all travel to be conducted in a timely manner ensuring punctuality.
