Responsibilities

• Perform waived to highly complex tests on patient specimens and report results.
• Provide clinical correlation and notify caregivers of critical values.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot major automated equipment; contact vendors as needed.
• Perform calibration and quality control procedures and document results.
• Participate in proficiency testing and review results with lab leadership.
• Assist in evaluation/validation of new procedures and equipment.
