Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the growing BILH team. Essential duties include performing diagnostic radiology across trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopy, G.U.

contrast, operative and portable exams with safety and accuracy, and producing complete RIS/PACS records. Two years of formal Radiologic Technology training; ARRT registration; MA radiography license required; new grads may have Temp MA Rad Tech License and ARRT eligibility.

Qualifications

• Two years of formal Radiologic Technology training.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensed in radiography by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• New graduates may have Temp MA Rad Tech License and ARRT eligibility 1 year from graduation.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of diagnostic radiology including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopy, GU contrast exams, and operative and portable exams.
• Operates imaging equipment and positions patients to obtain anatomical information.
• Calculates exposure factors and collimates to minimize patient radiation exposure.
• Maintains radiation protection for patients and personnel.
• Produces complete RIS and PACS records for each exam.
• Participates in training of student radiographers.
• Ensures efficient department operations and minimizes patient wait times.
