Job summary

MUSC Health Emergency and Urgent Care, part of MUSC Health Charleston Medical Center Downtown, seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray and CT imaging with focus on patient comfort and safety. Strong teamwork and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Education includes graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program and ARRT/SCRQSA registration; BLS is required. This role is based in West Ashley with a competitive sign-on and relocation support for eligible

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
2 years minimum experience in diagnostic imaging & CT.
ARRT & SCRQSA registration required (Radiography R & CT C). Current BLS required.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in X-ray and CT modalities.
Provide exceptional patient care while ensuring comfort and safety during imaging.
Explain procedures clearly to patients and obtain proper preparation.
Verify patient information and prepare examinations.
Operate X-ray and CT equipment safely per protocols.
Produce accurate diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
Maintain competency in all imaging procedures and equipment.
Adhere to radiation safety standards to minimize exposure.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
