Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist for the MUSC Health Emergency and Urgent Care in West Ashley, SC. You will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in X-ray and CT, ensure patient comfort, and follow safety protocols.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology, ARRT and SCRQSA registration, and current BLS. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 2+ years minimum experience in diagnostic imaging & CT.
• ARRT and SCRQSA registrations required.
• Current BLS required (AHA or ARC) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in X-ray and CT.
• Provide exceptional patient care while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients and answer questions to promote understanding.
• Verify patient information and ensure proper preparation prior to examinations.
• Operate X-ray and CT equipment safely and efficiently per protocols.
• Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Maintain competency in all assigned imaging procedures and equipment.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards to minimize exposure.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to support timely diagnosis.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
