Qualifications

  • Active registration with CMRITO in good standing is required.
  • Must be certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).

Job Summary:

X-Ray: The Radiological Technologist is accountable to the Manager, Diagnostic Imaging Services. Under the direction of a Radiologist, he/she performs the procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with skill, ingenuity, and initiative. Must assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required.

Ultrasound: The Ultrasound Technologist is accountable to the Manager, Diagnostic Imaging Services. Under the direction of a Radiologist/Cardiologist/Internist, he/she performs the procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with skill, ingenuity, and initiative. Must assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required.

Qualifications

  • Must have active registration with the College of Medical Radiology & Imaging Technologists of Ontario in good standing
  • Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
  • Fluency in both official languages is an asset.
  • Has the physical capacity to perform work, requiring lifting and positioning of equipment and patients according to the BRH lift and transfer policies and the ability to travel distances in the Hospital.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office software, Expanse and other computer programs as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
