Job summary

Inova Center for Personalized Health seeks a Diagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist in Falls Church, VA. This Full-Time role offers day-evening shifts (6:30am–6:30pm) with options for four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are eligible.

You will perform imaging exams, ensure safety, and participate in QC with strong patient communication and teamwork. Requirements include ARRT registration, CT within 1 year, BLS within 3 months, and at least 1 year of

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• ARRT registered radiologic technologist; CT certification within one year.
• BLS certification within 3 months.
• At least 1 year imaging experience in hospital setting with rotation across modalities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of imaging principles, anatomy, and pathology; selects appropriate techniques/positioning for optimal exams.
• Communicates with patients to obtain history/consent to aid physician interpretation.
• Implements radiation protection with collimation and shielding; adheres to safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked, orderly exam environment and supplies.
• Performs routine quality control testing and documents maintenance of imaging equipment.
