Allina Health in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an Imaging Support staff for MRI department. This part-time role covers Day/Evening shifts with an 8/12 combo schedule, 16 hours per week, and every other weekend rotation to support patient care and exam coordination.

The position involves assisting technologists, transporting patients, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth information flow between clinics and departments. BLS certification required or in-house training within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description

Responsabilités

• Communicates physician requests to appropriate department staff.
• Coordinates workflow with Clinics, service departments and physicians.
• Prioritizes customer needs.
• Provides information regarding special instructions, exam preps, arrival times or special needs.
• Keeps leadership advised of any issues or concerns.
• Assists Technologist in delivering patient care; screens patients for exam.
• Delivers imaging supplies as needed.
• Transports, transfers and positions patients.
• Distributes completed exam to radiologist for interpretation.
• Restocks and prepares exam room for procedures.
• Documents image data release in EMR; shows EMI knowledge

Job Description

Provides safe, quality patient care, while assisting technologist with transport and care of patients. Maintains electronic files, distributes patient reports and coordinates information flow between patients and clinics. Other patient care and clerical functions as assigned.

• Demonstrates knowledge of the electronic storage and retrieval system (EMI).
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous patient care or Medical Terminology

Licenses/Certifications

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross
• Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)

Physical Demands

• Medium Work*:
• Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently

Pay Range

Pay Range: $17.45 to $23.77 per hour

The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
