Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a PCP/Endo Business Specialist to maximize net sales of BIPI diabetes products. You will plan and execute strategies to influence healthcare professionals and optimize payer discussions, formulary access, and product adoption.

The role requires strong communication, disease knowledge, and travel within the assigned territory. The position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, adherence to regulations, and delivering consistent sales messaging

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years successful sales and/or marketing experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, pharmacy, B2B, customer engagement services or equivalent.
Experience in diabetes therapeutic area preferred.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and database applications.
Ability to travel (may include overnight travel).

Responsibilities

Influence targeted health care professionals to support the use of BIPI promoted diabetes products and execute brand strategies.
Complete pre-call plans, build discussions around customer needs, and maintain strong customer networks.
Engage payers and managed care teams to support formulary access and MCO decisions.
Analyze territory data and optimize resource allocation, including samples and speaker program funds.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and co-promotion partners to deliver net sales objectives.
Ensure compliance with all regulations and Boehringer Ingelheim policies.
