Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition (RD) OR RN license issued by the state in which teammate practices.
• 2-3 years nutrition experience with exposure to diabetes patients OR 3-5 years in clinical specialty.
• CDCES certification
• Experience with insulin pump therapy
• Knowledge & understanding of, child growth & development, normal patterns of adolescent behavior, and signs of normal aging

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Monday–Friday 8a-4:30p; Merrionette Park base with travel to Orland Park.
• Coordinate and deliver outpatient diabetes education sessions
• Serve as a clinical resource for diabetes inpatients
• Provide diabetes education materials to hospital staff and lead community diabetes activities
