Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Registered Nurse to join the diabetes educator team at the Diabetes and Endocrinology Center. The role supports collaboration with endocrinologists to deliver high-quality patient education in 1:1 and group settings.

The position requires a BSN, CT RN licensure, BLS, and CDCES (or progress toward it within 2 years). Travel to Hartford and Enfield offices is expected. Full-time day shift with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Current RN license in Connecticut (CT).
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) and CDCES or progress toward within 2 years.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with insulin dose adjustments and manage diabetes-related phone triage.
• Teach patients how to use personal and professional CGMs and educate 1:1 and in groups.
• Demonstrate problem solving, conflict resolution and positive communication through teamwork.
