Job Summary:
The Diabetes Clinician assists in the coordination of care and education of the patient with diabetes. The diabetes clinician acts as a consultant for the nursing staff, using evidence-based practice when teaching staff and patients. The diabetes clinician may participate in staff development and continuing education in addition to patient education.
