Job summary

Texas A&M University Health Science Center is seeking a Diabetes Education Program Manager to lead the DEP across Starr, Hidalgo, Cameron and Willacy counties. You will manage daily operations, supervise staff, track outcomes, and ensure ADA-aligned education and outreach to diverse communities.

The role requires strong communication, bilingual abilities in English/Spanish, and travel within the four-county service area. This is a full-time onsite position at the TAMHSC McAllen Campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of professional work experience with staff supervision.
• State license and ADA registration mandated (RD/LDN).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Diabetes Education Program activities across the Rio Grande Valley counties.
• Supervise DEP staff and students; coordinate trainings and outreach.
• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, planning, and program evaluation.
