SGMC Health in Valdosta, GA seeks a skilled Registered Nurse for the Diabetes Management Center. You will provide patient care using the nursing process across ages, perform injections, vaccines, and lab draws, and document care while coordinating with physicians and the care team.

Qualificações

• Active RN license in Georgia and CPR certification.
• 3–5 years nursing experience in related specialty or primary care.
• Strong clinical nursing skills in assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care through nursing process for all age groups on the unit.
• Perform injections, vaccines and lab draws.
• Document care and complete all necessary paperwork (prior authorizations, prescription refills, DME, CMN, orders, referrals).
• Calculate and administer insulin; manage diabetes devices.
• Coordinate patient’s plan of care with physicians and other disciplines.
• Maintain alignment with SGMC Health mission, standards and policies.
