Job summary

SGMC Health's Diabetes Management Center in Valdosta, GA is seeking an experienced RN to provide patient care within the diabetes management clinic, following the nursing process across all ages.

You will perform injections, vaccines, lab draws, document care, and coordinate with physicians; experience with insulin devices and CGMs is beneficial.

Requires GA RN license and CPR; full-time day shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Thu; 8:00 AM–12:00 PM Fri. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Georgia and CPR certification.
• 3–5 years nursing experience in related specialty or primary care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care through assessment and implementation of the nursing process for all ages.
• Perform injections, vaccines and lab draws; document care.
• Complete paperwork including authorizations, refills, orders, referrals.
• Calculate and administer insulin; work with diabetes devices (insulin pumps, meters, CGMs).
• Coordinate patient plans of care with physicians and other disciplines.
