Job summary

Di Bruno Bros. in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a friendly team member to interact with customers, take and fulfill prepared foods orders, and help keep displays fresh and inviting.

You will assist with merchandising, follow health and safety guidelines, and contribute to a positive team environment while providing excellent customer service at our Di Bruno Bros. location.

Qualifications

• One year of food service or food preparation experience preferred, but we love to train those passionate about food & customer service
• Availability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business
• A willingness to learn about our brand and our product offerings
• An enthusiasm to communicate with customers and fellow Associates about current offerings and drink options
• Ability to process information/merchandise through computer system and POS register system
• Can multi-task and work well under the pressure of a busy department
• Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation
• Can move, carry or handle merchandise throughout the store
• You thrive in fast-paced environments
• You are a passionate food lover with a positive attitude
• You have a strong work ethic, are reliable, and enjoy working with people
• You take pride in exceeding customer expectations

Responsibilities

• Speak and interact with both new and regular customers

• Resolve customer issues and answer questions
• Stock hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators
• Assist with merchandising and display of products
• Check product dates to ensure freshness and rotate when necessary
• Assist with periodic inventory checks
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
• Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
• Contribute to a positive team environment
