Job summary

Chevo is hiring a Portfolio Manager to support a DHS customer. You will coordinate with Program Managers across the organization to ensure RDT&E projects align with Component priorities throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires an active secret clearance, 7+ years of federal program management experience, and strong data analysis and reporting skills. Onsite at St. Elizabeth's Campus in SE DC, with possible travel.

Qualifications

• Active secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of experience supporting DHS and other Federal, state, local, tribal and territorial agencies.
• R&D lifecycle experience including requirements generation, technology scouting, and program management.
• Experience with RDT&E activities involving AI/ML, C2, sensing, quantum, and other advanced tech.

Responsibilities

• Assist Components through RDT&E need intake and prioritization, coordinating with internal partners.
• Facilitate the integrated project team (IPT) process with Components.
• Coordinate senior leadership engagements between customer and Components.
• Identify strategic priorities and align portfolios to DHS mission areas.
• Prepare reports, briefs, and quad charts for leadership review.
• Support PPBE process with program and budget analyses.
