Job summary

ISN Corporation in Bethesda, MD is seeking a DHS Field Leader to provide operational leadership for field investigation activities and contract-specific requirements. You will manage investigative personnel, ensure compliance with customer requirements, and deliver performance against KPIs.

This role requires an active favorable adjudicated security clearance (T5, T5R, or HT) and DHS experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and management of investigative and records personnel.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on field operations and customer investigative requirements.
• Monitor and manage team performance against established KPIs.
• Prepare and deliver bi-monthly operational status reports to Program Management.
• Collaborate with the Workload Leader to support workload management and case completion objectives.
• Coordinate site access requests, special access approvals, and operational support activities.
• Ensure compliance with customer-required audits, inspections, and oversight activities.
• Conduct performance management activities, coaching, and corrective actions as needed.
• Identify operational trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Deliver individual and small-group training and mentoring.
• Promote employee engagement, morale, and organizational culture.
• Partner with Program Management and the IC Coordinator to support customer priorities and workforce needs.
• Develop recommendations to improve operational effectiveness, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Position Summary

The Field Leader provides operational leadership and subject matter expertise for field investigation activities and contract‑specific investigative requirements. This position oversees the day‑to‑day management of investigative personnel and Record Searchers while ensuring compliance with customer requirements, operational objectives, and contractual performance standards.

The Field Leader serves as a key liaison between operational staff and Program Management and is responsible for workforce performance, compliance, employee engagement, and overall operational success.
