Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Systems Engineer to provide onsite/hybrid support in the DC/Northern Virginia area for DHS acquisition management. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and optimize major and non-major programs through MBSE and rigorous analysis.

The role requires a BS in a technical field, 3+ years of federal program experience, and U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain DHS clearance. On-site work is required per client needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems engineering experience, preferably with federal programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical documents.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-critical DHS/DoD environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support focusing on DHS policies, governance, and oversight of acquisition programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, evaluate, and optimize acquisition processes.
• Support MBSE adoption, risk management, and performance metrics to improve program outcomes.
