Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics in Augusta, GA is seeking a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to join our SPED team. This full-time role (40 hours/week) offers a W-2 position and a competitive hourly rate of $48-$51.

You will collaborate with school staff and families to deliver specialized instruction, participate in IEP planning, and provide evidence-based services across related therapies. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Georgia license to practice as a teacher.
• Georgia teaching certificate in Deaf Education/Deaf and Hard of Hearing or appropriate special education cert.
• Experience working with culturally diverse families.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with school staff and families regarding students’ educational needs.
• Participate in IEP development, present levels, goals and treatment recommendations.
• Provide Special Education sessions using current best practices per IEP prescriptions.
• Maintain district documentation including notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs.
