Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics, a division of HealthPro Heritage, is seeking a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher for an on-site position in Tampa, FL. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday with a W2 including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and a 401K, and pays $42–$46 per hour.

You will consult with school staff and families, conduct screenings and evaluations, participate in IEP development, provide Special Education sessions, and maintain district documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license to practice in the state
• Experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and families
• Ongoing continuing education required

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with School staff and families regarding students' educational deficits
• Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations; participate in IEP process to develop present levels, goals, objectives, and treatment recommendations
• Provide Special Education sessions using current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
• Maintain all documentation required by the district including notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs
