Eleutheria is seeking a Deaf & Hard of Hearing Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Brainerd, MN. The role emphasizes K‑12 instruction using ASL and Signing Exact English, total communication, and auditory‑oral approaches to help students access the curriculum.

You will collaborate with families, multidisciplinary teams, and manage hearing aids, FM units, and cochlear implant processors while implementing IEP goals and progress reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minnesota teaching license in Deaf/Hard of Hearing or proof of pending approved licensure.
• Experience teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing students.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver targeted instruction to meet IEP goals.
• Use effective classroom and behavior management to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Observe and assess student progress and communicate with families.
• Apply ASL/Signing Exact English in instruction and adapt methods per subject.
• Adjust device settings (hearing devices, FM units, processors) as directed by clinicians.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams throughout the school year.
