Job summary

Indsci in Everett, WA is seeking a DFX Manufacturing Engineer to drive Design for Excellence across product introductions and sustaining products. You will partner closely with design engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure cost-effective and high-quality manufacturing outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and has 5–8+ years of relevant experience. Your role will also include developing advanced manufacturing processes and leading cost reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, DFX, or NPI environments.
• Proven experience influencing product design for manufacturability and cost.
• Experience with complex electro-mechanical assemblies and/or regulated products.

Responsibilities

• Lead DFX reviews throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop, qualify, and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with Test Engineering to ensure alignment with DFX objectives.
