Responsibilities

• Assist in developing manufacturing assembly processes, fixtures, and equipment requirements; contribute to fixture and line qualification activities.
• Perform tolerance analysis and GD&T-based studies on assemblies and part-level drawings under the guidance of your mentor.
• Collect and analyze process data (yield, cycle time, failure modes) and contribute to failure analysis and lessons-learned reports.
• Investigate a new or improved manufacturing process, applying theoretical and practical engineering knowledge to improve product quality or production efficiency.
• Present your project findings and recommendations to the DFX team and cross-functional partners at the end of the internship.
