Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking an Assistant General Manager, CDL Transportation at DFW Airport to oversee shuttle operations and team leadership, reporting to the General Manager. You will manage on-site shuttle drivers, ensure DOT compliance, and develop client relationships while delivering 24/7 professional parking management across locations.

The role requires a Class B (or A) license with passenger endorsement, 2+ years in CDL driving and management, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent

• Ensure drivers hit scheduled pickup times and stay on schedule.
• Oversee transition of new locations from contract to opening, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Develop client relationships and business retention.
• Understand and deliver contractual requirements between LAZ Parking and clients.
• Communicate effectively with all required entities during emergencies.

The Spirit of the Position

The Assistant General Manager, CDL Transportation helps tooversee the operations of a location(s), under thedirection of the General Manager to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Assistant General Manager will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned location(s).

Principal Job Duties

• Lead, direct, and develop team of shuttle drivers at the DFW Airport.
• Manage, plan, train and direct the activities of on-site shuttle drivers.
• Identifying high potential employees to support the organization’s continued growth.
• Ensure drivers are driving the proper routes and hitting the scheduled pick up times while keeping on schedule.
• Oversee the transition of newly assigned locations from acceptance of contract through opening of location ensuring client satisfaction.
• Responsible for developing client relationships and business retention.
• Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and our clients.
• Communicate effective with all required entities regarding operation emergencies.

Requirements

• Must have Class B License
• Must have a passenger endorsement and medical certificate
• Must have experience driving shuttles with air brakes
• Must be at least 21years of age.

Education

Bachelor's degreeor equivalent work experience.

Experience

• Must have experience working and supervising a shuttle program with Class B drivers
• Must have experience with DOT compliance with regards to DOT inspections
• 2 + years in Management role.
