Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking an Assistant General Manager, CDL Transportation to oversee shuttle operations at the DFW Airport under the direction of the General Manager and ensure 24/7 professional parking management. You will support programs from our home office and assist location teams across sites.

You will lead on-site shuttle drivers, manage routes and schedules, develop client relationships, and ensure the contractual requirements and DOT standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and develop team of shuttle drivers at the DFW Airport.
• Manage, plan, train and direct the activities of on-site shuttle drivers.
• Identifying high potential employees to support the organization’s continued growth.
• Ensure drivers are driving the proper routes and hitting the scheduled pick up times while keeping on schedule.
• Oversee the transition of newly assigned locations from acceptance of contract through opening of location ensuring client satisfaction.
• Responsible for developing client relationships and business retention.
• Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and our clients.
• Communicate effectively with all required entities regarding operation emergencies.

Requirements:

• MUST have valid Class B or Class Alicense
• MUSThaveat least 2 yrs ofCDLdriving experience
• MUST havePassenger Endorsement.
• Must have 2 years or more Transportation Managerexperience.

The Spirit of the Position:

TheAssistant General Manager, CDL Transportation helps tooversee the operations of a location(s), under thedirection of the General Manager to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Assistant General Manager will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned location(s).

Principal Job Duties:

• Lead, direct, and develop team of shuttle drivers at the DFW Airport.
• Manage, plan, train and direct the activities of on-site shuttle drivers.
• Identifying high potential employees to support the organization’s continued growth.
• Ensure drivers are driving the proper routes and hitting the scheduled pick up times while keeping on schedule.

Requirements:

• Must have Class B License
• Must have a passenger endorsement and medical certificate
• Must have experience driving shuttles with air brakes
• Must be at least 21years of age.

Experience:

• Must have experience working and supervising a shuttle program with Class B drivers
• Must have experience with DOT compliance with regards to DOT inspections
• 2 + years in Management role.
