Job summary
PrizePicks seeks a detail-oriented, statistically-minded analyst to monitor and trade precise sports projections across major leagues in a fast-paced environment.
You will maintain pre-game and in-game projections, monitor information flows, and manage risk using quantitative analysis. Remote-friendly with potential for US-wide applicants; some night/weekend work aligns with sports schedules.
Qualifications
- Ability to analyze several streams of information concurrently and make thoughtful decisions in a time-sensitive environment.
- Strong attention to detail, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to apply strong understanding of DFS and sports gaming industries.
- Thorough understanding of college/major sports league players, teams, matchups and how information affects projections.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate pre-game and in-game projections for markets (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, CBB, CFB).
- Monitor projections throughout the day and track key information.
- Manage risk and projections using modeling and quantitative analysis.
- Understand members' play patterns and adjust processes accordingly.
- Collaborate with sport owners to implement strategies and SOPs for game operations.
