Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation is seeking a DEXA Technician to perform bone densitometry and manage the processing of x-ray films in the department. You will support the care team with quality imaging and adhere to regulatory standards in a patient-focused environment.

The role requires California licensure or permit in radiologic techniques and prior DEXA experience; BLS certification within 30 days of hire, and ARRT credentials in radiography or bone densitometry are expected upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Bone Densitometry Program or Radiology Program (CRT).
• California Radiologic Technologist or California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician Bone Densitometry Permit.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• National Registry Technologist - Radiography or Bone Densitometry upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs and processes x-ray films as part of the DEXA department workflow.
• Contributes to the department's scope of activities as required.
