Job summary

Essen Health Care in New York is seeking a DEXA Radiology Technologist (Per Diem) to join our imaging team. This role performs bone density scans and supports diagnosis through high-quality imaging to guide treatment planning.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (required).
• NY State Radiologic Technologist license (or eligible).

• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a per diem capacity.

Responsibilities

• Perform DEXA (bone density) scans in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during procedures.
• Educate patients on exam procedures and address questions/concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Follow all radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Maintain and troubleshoot DEXA equipment as needed.
