Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a motivated Radiologic Technologist to join our West End Endocrinology and Rheumatology Clinic imaging team. The role focuses on bone density (DEXA) exams and diagnostic X-rays in a brand-new specialty space with state-of-the-art equipment; you will join a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Bone Densitometry Certification (ARRT BD) strongly preferred, but not required at time of hire.
• Experience performing bone density (DEXA) examinations and diagnostic X-ray studies.
• Outpatient imaging environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Perform bone density (DEXA) exams for osteoporosis screening and monitoring.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and satisfaction throughout imaging process.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining radiation safety.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses and clinic staff to support efficient care.
