Job summary

Providence Little Company Of Mary Torrance Hospital is seeking a DEXA Technician to join our Diagnostic Imaging team on a per-diem day shift. You will perform DEXA scans and assist with processing of x-ray films, contributing to the department's scope of activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Bone Densitometry Program or Radiology Program (CRT).
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist or
• Upon hire: California Limited Permit Dual Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: ARRT or
• Upon hire: Bone Densitometry certification.
• Experience as a DEXA Technician; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• The DEXA Technician performs technical work related to taking and processing x-ray films and related department activities.
