Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, or GED.
  • Washington State Radiologic Technician license required within 6 months of hire.
  • Demonstrates high-technical understanding of clinical indications for exams in order to tailor to appropriate exam performed.
  • Demonstrated ability to type and use keyboard.
  • Proven excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Performs DEXA scans on patients for osteoporosis.
  • Proficient at gathering all pertinent patient clinical history for interpreting physician.
  • Develops scanning protocols for DEXA exams.
  • Maintains DEXA equipment to meet a high level of clinical performance including software upgrades.
  • Recognizes inaccurate exam data, software and hardware failures.
  • Manages DEXA patient schedule, accommodates emergent exams and add Ons.
