Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Dewatering Electrician for the Open Pit Operations Team in Nevada. The role involves daily monitoring and maintenance of the dewatering system across sites, performing electrical installations on large submersible equipment, and repairing dewatering electrical installations.

The successful candidate will have mining or manufacturing electrical experience, the ability to read wiring diagrams, and be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical trades experience in a mining or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and work orders.
• Must furnish own tools and meet electrical trade requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely monitor and maintain the dewatering system across multiple sites.
• Perform electrical installations and maintenance on large horsepower submersible equipment.
• Repair dewatering electrical installations and provide electrical support.
• Collaborate with the Dewatering Supervisor and team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
