Job summary

BryceTech is seeking a DevSecOps Systems Engineer to support a customer-facing technology program that integrates complex software and security capabilities. The role sits at the intersection of systems engineering, software integration, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and technical problem-solving to help move capabilities from proof of concept to operations.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret Clearance or above.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting systems integration, software development, DevSecOps, systems engineering, software testing, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and the software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated understanding of CI/CD concepts and how automated software build, test, security, and deployment pipelines operate.
• Experience coordinating technical testing and evaluating whether solutions meet defined or evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex technical and systems integration challenges and develop practical approaches to address problems that may not have established solutions.
• Design, integrate, test, and operationalize software capabilities with software developers, systems engineers, and cybersecurity personnel.
• Translate customer needs into actionable integration approaches and technical requirements.
• Evaluate multiple technical solutions and recommend approaches based on feasibility, risk, and security.
• Coordinate implementation with prime contractor and development teams.
• Support software and systems integration from proof of concept through testing and initial operational capability.
• Understand CI/CD pipelines and the software development lifecycle, including source control and deployment.
• Identify issues in development and deployment processes and implement improvements.
• Support cybersecurity activities to move capabilities into operational environments.
• Assist with configuration, deployment, and integration activities to establish operational capabilities.
