Job summary

Penn State University's Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) seeks DevSecOps Research and Development Engineers to advance secure automation for development, testing, and production environments. Roles can be based in State College, PA or Reston, VA with on-site expectations and hybrid/work-from-home options depending on skillset.

You will design secure pipelines, manage CI/CD, optimize systems, present proposals, and coordinate with sponsors to deliver solutions for Navy, IC, and federal customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science; 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Required Certifications: None
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments
• Manage continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency
• Improving systems through updates and optimizations using various technologies
• Present program overviews, proposals, and technical briefings at internal and external events
• Coordinate with sponsors and team members to identify risks, issues, requirements, and design solutions for project-level activity on a day to day basis
