Equinix is seeking a DevSecOps Platform Engineer to help build, support, and improve our cloud-native platform engineering and security automation capabilities. This role will contribute to CI/CD pipeline development, platform automation, security integrations, and emerging AI-powered operational workflows that improve developer productivity and platform reliability.
Working closely with platform, security, and software engineering teams, you will help implement solutions that enhance the software delivery lifecycle while supporting secure and scalable infrastructure.

Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tooling
Develop and maintain automation that improves deployment consistency, operational efficiency, and developer experience
Assist with implementation and support of cloud-native applications and platform services
Support containerized application deployments within Kubernetes environments
Troubleshoot pipeline, deployment, and runtime issues in partnership with engineering teams
Implement and maintain security scanning tools including SAST, DAST, and SCA within CI/CD workflows
Assist with integrating security controls throughout the software development lifecycle
Support secure management of secrets, credentials, and identity access controls
Contribute to policy-as-code initiatives and automated compliance controls
Partner with Security teams to implement practical security guardrails that align with engineering workflows
Assist in developing AI-assisted workflows that improve operational efficiency and developer productivity
Contribute to retrieval-based solutions that provide access to engineering documentation, runbooks, and operational knowledge
Support implementation of agent-based automation using modern AI frameworks
Apply established security, governance, and monitoring controls when integrating AI capabilities into engineering workflows
Participate in evaluating AI solutions for effectiveness, reliability, and operational value
Support cloud infrastructure running within AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
