Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks a TS/SCI-cleared DevOps Engineer to join our national security focused team. You will help build mission-critical intelligence workflows and deploy secure, scalable infrastructure for DoW programs using OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, apply data visualization and logging tools, and ensure compliance across deployments while learning and innovating in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance or immediate eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields.
• 3+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or DevSecOps.
• 3+ years with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, or Azure.
• 3+ years with Linux, Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• 1+ years with secure deployments, monitoring and operational troubleshooting (Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).

Your Role And Responsibilities

Our team is committed to providing senior National Security leaders with decision-worthy data and analysis to improve the effectiveness of Intelligence systems supporting DoW Warfighters. The team is building mission-critical intelligence workflows to produce decision advantage for the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security, OUSW(I&S). We are seeking a TS//SCI cleared DevOps Engineer with a variety of technical skills, a curiosity to learn and innovate, and general understanding of the defense intelligence enterprise. Our engineering team leverages graph technology and data visualization tools to wrangle, clean, analyze and display data in decision support tools for senior leaders within the Department of War.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance or show immediate eligibility according to DISS security database (SCI within last 2 years)


• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields.


• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, or environment management.


• 3+ years of experience using cloud and platform infrastructure technologies (e.g. OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure)


• 3+ years of experience with operating systems and scripting tools (e.g. Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu, Bash, Python, PowerShell)


• 1+ years of experience supporting secure deployments, configuration management, monitoring, logging, and operational troubleshooting (e.g. Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus)

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Master’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields.


• Working knowledge of CI/CD (e.g. GitLap, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible), and security-conscious deployment practices is preferred


• 1+ year of experience with deploying GraphAware Hume, Neo4j-backed applications, or investigative workflow platforms.


• Experience and/or proficiency in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and/or Natural Language Processing
