Qualifications

• US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility per DISS security database (SCI within last 2 years).
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields.
• 7+ years of experience applying data engineer or software development skills to analytic tools and data workflows.
• 5+ years of experience using programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, VBA, R) for data engineering or software development.
• 1+ years of experience leveraging graph databases and platforms for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior National Security leaders with decision‑worthy data and analysis to improve intelligence systems.
• Build mission‑critical intelligence workflows to produce decision advantage for OUSW(I&S).
• Utilize open‑source scripting and data visualization tools to wrangle, clean, analyze and display data for decision support.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Our team is committed to providing senior National Security leaders with decision‑worthy data and analysis to improve the effectiveness of Intelligence systems supporting DoW Warfighters. The team is building mission‑critical intelligence workflows to produce decision advantage for the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security, OUSW(I&S). We are seeking a TS//SCI cleared Data Engineer with a variety of technical skills, a curiosity to learn and innovate, and general understanding of the defense intelligence enterprise. Our data engineering team leverages open‑source scripting and data visualization tools to wrangle, clean, analyze and display data in decision support tools for senior leaders within the Department of War.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance or show immediate eligibility according to DISS security database (SCI within last 2 years)
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields.
• 7+ years of experience applying data engineer or software development skills to develop analytic tools, deliver mission support services and create data visualisation capabilities.
• 5+ years of experience using programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Java, Visual Basic for Applications, R) to deliver data engineering and/or software development services.
• 1+ years of experience leveraging graph databases and platforms to deliver analytics.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Master’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields.
• 5+ years of general experience in the military or intelligence community; exposure to ISR capabilities is highly desired
• 5+ year of experience with database development (e.g. MongoDB, PostgreSQL) or Web Development (e.g. JavaScript, React, Node.js)
• 5+ years of experience in leading data engineering or software development teams
• Experience and/or proficiency in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and/or Natural Language Processing
